New Study on C-sections

A new study is out stating that the main causes for our rising c-section rate are;

“the increased use of drugs to induce labor, the tendency to give up on labor too soon and deliver babies surgically instead of waiting for nature to take its course, and the failure to allow women with previous Caesareans to try to give birth vaginally.”

Wow it’s been a really long time since I’ve posted here. So sorry for lack of postings. I haven’t really been focusing on my doula work lately. I’ve started caring for my best friends baby during the day, and my husband has a new job delivering newpapers in the early morning hours, so I haven’t been doing any births.

If you or anyone you know needs a doula or is interested in hiring a doula, please let me know. I can get you in contact with other doulas or midwives to help you find one.
